Time to start modding it! I've got all the AR tools if you ever need to borrow any and have built about 5 of them between me and my friends.

Sweet. I'm not sure what i'm going to do to it yet. Don't want to rush and buy optics and stuff then not like them. May see what my brother has on his and try it out and go from there. I'm positive I want a new rail system with a light, those lights are NOT cheap lol. Thinking a 3x red dot sight, and a new ergo grip for the rear.

I was debating on whether to mix in some Flat Dark Earth in the quad rail, grips and stock, but I decided to keep it all black. Magpul AFG (front grip), NcSTAR quad rail, Magpul XTM rail panels, Hogue Monogrip(rear), BCM medium extension charge handle

I'm confused by the front grip. It looks like the handle for a p90

Those front grips are nice, I put them on both of my ARs. If you watch Magpuls "The Art of the Tatical Carbine" it explains their use a lot but basically you get much better control when sweeping the barrel from target to target. It's more natural than a pistol grip.

Yeah I read up on them before I purchased. Seemed to be the way to go. Feels comfortable, also supposed to keep you from torquing the gun like you would with a vertical pistol grip. Picking up the Magpul CTR-C stock sometime. Not sure about optics though. I'm NOT spending $500 on an eotech.. ridiculous.

I couldn't swallow that price either, I've got a sightmark red dot on my short barrel one. It was $80 shipped and has held zero for three years now.

My brother has like a Bushmaster or TruGlo and it was like $80 and his has been fine too. Trijicon looks nice.. $1,300 nice lol. I'm just not sure What I want to do with my front sight post. I don't want that ghost image in front of a red dot, but I don't want to mount the red dot 6 inches up off the rail either. May just deal with the ghost image of the front post after it's all said and done. Don't wanna remove that thing. Looks like a pain.

I took mine off when I did my quad rail. It's not terrible but takes time, I've got the tools. I put a set of the mbus flip ups from magpul on mine, they stay out of the way, along with a low profile gas block.

That was the exact sight/setup I would do if I got an ACOG or red dot. I don't think I want to go magnified though. Maybe a "cheap" red dot. We'll see lol haven't even shot the thing yet.
