  • The Official "Shooter's" Thread

Let's see the firearms and some videos you have made with them if you have any! I just decided to record Hannah shooting the new .243 I got the other day, so I figured why not make a thread for shooters now that I found out more of you have some toys as well.

I have 4 guns I like to shoot pretty frequently when it's warm enough and had actually made some videos, but ended up deleting them a long time ago. I will make some more videos with some exploding targets once warmer weather comes our way. I also have access to other bolt action, semi auto and AR style rifles amongst the brother and parents I can make some videos with!

Here is Hannah @ 100yds with a good cross wind.

Cholewa shoots guns?! I'm jk man lol nice iron sight shooting. Easier said than done. I cheat a little with the optics lol.

        That's a sweeeeet pistol Nicky V

I agree on the range day. I have plenty of fields here to shoot, but I couldn't house anyone lol. I have one spare room with a twin bed and that's it. Anyone is more than welcome to make the trip here, but like I said I have only one place for someone to sleep.

We could still make a day trip out of it, and it'd be a lot cheaper than a bunch of us paying for access to a range. Let's make this happen!

Let's start tossing some dates to make a trip out to Mr. Patterson's land to have a shooting day. What works for everyone?

Who's going to rob a bank to buy the ammo?

I'd put a smiley if it wasn't an honest question...

Depends on what you're shooting lol. Since the AR platform was able to use .223, 22LR and 9mm those are hard to find of course, not getting into that....... Most other ammo is still here and there though. I can get some 9mm rounds that are reloads though from a store in Leesburg. I can't say anything for the .223, my brother has ordered most of his ammo online for his AR.

When I was a competitive shooter I loaded all my own centerfire stuff. Still have a stash of components as well as quite a bit of purchased ammo but with the state of the industry being what it is my "arsenal" (as it would be labeled if Clinton had gotten his way) is almost too valuable to use. I could make a huge profit on my .22lr inventory but it is my preferred target ammo and now unreplaceable.

Dad and my brother reload most of their stuff too and that's about all we did for deer ammo. I've got 700 rounds of .243 to reload, plus a few hundred rounds loaded, which takes a while to go through in a bolt action. It's even hard to find primers and powder now. Lamar has a couple thousand round boxes of 9mm brass i may steal lol.
