Well I'd have to agree with what some people are saying in that the PPT's can work if the instructor stays involved with what is going on in them. I.E.- he has been involved in some degree with helping to make them. Visual communication has been proven to be the top way of communication out of any other form of communication there is...

Everyone, please be thinking of a date that we can all get together, sit down, and iron all of this out in person. I'd like there to be a rough draft of the ppt, and some instructors teaching it to the rest of us. sometime in the next few months, keep some free weekend slots on your mind to grab up a saturday or a sunday when we can get it done. We don't want to come into the new season lookin like a buncha ragamuffins.

Saturday the 22nd. My wife is heading up to Virginia for the weekend on Friday. I will have the house to myself and I can't think of a better time to put some ideas to paper and possibly start working on the ppt and other planning for next seasons NDCCC. On top of that we could have a digital Autocross : ). Let me know if you would like to come over and get some work done and then drive around on circuits none of will probably ever get the chance to visit, lol.

The 22nd isn't very good for me. I'm installing and tuning a MAF-T setup in a customer's car. However, afterward might be doable. I could try to get rolling on this project early and hopefully be done in about 5 or 6 hours.

The 22nd will be the only time I can make it in the next month, so I hope we can do it then! I'll be around Birmingham for friday-tuesday the 21st-25th, but then it's Thanksgiving stuff and back to Auburn to finish up this semester. The next time I'll be back is Dec. 16th!! Matt, is there any way you can make it on the 22nd??

Hi Everyone,

After reading through this thread, I'm motivated to help if you can use another brain in the process. You're providing a great service to not only the new drivers, but the community as a whole! I use PPT all the time in my job, and it can be done effectively (and poorly). I'll be heading over for the event on the 23rd, and if someone would volunteer a comfy sofa to sleep on overnight, I'll come on the 22nd.

Alrighty, I will not be working on a car Saturday ... but I long ago committed to taking the Mrs. to a movie on it's opening day ... and opening day is Saturday. The movie starts at 1:00 and lasts around 2 hours. The theater is in Alabaster.

So, I can head over just after that if everyone is cool with that. I'd be there around 4:00 ...
