For those looking to buy tires prior to this event, check tire rack to see if they are running low on your tires. I had to switch to the z2 star specs since they no longer have RS-3s in my size.

Most vettes in BS last year ran 255/285 RS3, including the national champ. I was one of the few running 275/295 Rivals. In STU, I expect to see 285 square on the C5s, but they will have much wider wheels (10.5 to 11.0 as compared to 8.5F & 9.5R) so they should give more grip & faster response.

I've got a co-driver for Blytheville and still have an open seat for Dixie.

Good to know! I figured they'd be on 285 square but didn't know others were already running 285 rears. The extra width should definitely help.

With all these cars being able to run 285s maybe it's time I write a letter requesting a special model exception for the M3 to be allowed flares to fit 285s Being stuck on 255s just doesn't seem fair

Maybe we should just agree to let me try it locally so we can have some data for me to send in along with my letter

You sure? They've got a group buy going on bimmerforums for 18x10 and 18x10.5 wheels for my car.
