Nick and I plan to give it a go this year, although we don't really have a car that will be competitive in SSM. I have zero plans to make the car competitive against $50k+ cars, but hopefully can have some fun making them think about it.

I have a mild interest in going, just to say I've been. I just don't have a car to drive, nor any offers of one to drive so I probably won't go.

I had a good time the one time I went down. I recommend it, if you have the time, etc.

The competition level is high enough to make spectating interesting, and it was funny jacking up the ol' Escort and pulling an Azenis-shod wheel for impound, or whatever it's called, next to Jinx Jordan and Geoff Zimmer's cars, as if there was something interesting to see. I can't remember why that car ended up in FSP, but it was some little thing that made it illegal in Stock without providing any real advantage.

i'll be there in the POS2000 if it stays in one piece. if not, I will take the mustang. it's a can't miss event for me, although I run a lot of locals there. also, there is an autocross in Dothan this sunday for those needing a fix. our website is a little behind http://www.motorsportreg.com/events/...9#.VK4Hy0YtF2G
