Hot Rod power tour needs us to help

Question regarding T&S ...

How will the cars be classed? Will we just give them numbers or will we use SCCA classes? I'm not sure exactly how to set this up in AXWare.

Also, should we show up with a few cars in full AutoX prep to represent the club? I'd be happy to throw on the Kumhos and some magnets, and maybe even wash the car if it would help our image, and chances to run at the Met.

Just to let you know, we can easily open an event and type a number next to a time. This requires no registration really. There would just be no names or vehicles associated with the times, only the number.

And would you like shiny autocross cars on site, or just show up in whatever?

I'm going to make a big assumption here and say why not put the drivers name in the computer for his time. I assume HOT ROD Power Tour participants will have names.

I agree, but we would be setting up a new membership file and have to have a registration process to get everyone entered. I don't have a problem with that, but I didn't know what was expected or the time we had to get going once participants arrive. That's why I asked.

I will have my shiny autox car there in full get-up. just because I want to.

There is an INSANE amount of hot rods on the road right now, wish sooooooo bad I could help. Hope everyone has a great day! and maybe we get a new course?

I just went to lunch, traveling towards talladega on HWY 21 South, and passed probably 30 hot rods of various shapes and sizes. I guess thats part of their route?! or did they have something going on at Talladega Super Speedway?

Also, there were lots of hangers-on and one-day entrants, I believe, who may have been on their way to or from the event.
