I cant tremember which car was which to be honest. Matt probably has that info though. 1 layout missing from the post on www.virtualautocross.com. Matt should be popping that up tonight or tomorrow.

I have thought about trying to find a front and RWD car that is close enough in overall time to go that route. I think its fun using alot of different vehicles though. We can go either direction with this in the future though.

I liked the mini and the moto-cart the best.

whatever that pig of a car was for the 4th one was terrible, some crappy jaguar type thing that blew more than the hindenburg.

i would like to make a request. if we are going to use the boat (the rr car) again, which i would like to do, please make a course that is more suited to it & doesn't work best w/ the e-brake.

Bill, we picked the cars at random, except for the Formula SAE car. I honestly had no problem with the RR car ... most of my issues were with the AWD car on the last course.

Our approach was very realistic ... you don't get to pick your car depending on the course that's set up at a real autocross ... why should you be able to at our events? If you drive a boat to the event, you'll drive a boat on the course. It's completely fair.

Also, I think Tom's performance on ALL of the courses negates any complaints we may have ...

you misunderstand. i'm not saying it isn't fair or wrong or that i don't suck. i just didn't enjoy that car on that a course. that's all.

And Bill ... are YOU the one that mapped the e-brake to the wheel? It happened to be the same button I use for Ventrilo chat, so every time I tried to talk the car went nuts! I had no idea what was going on ... lol

sad thing is, it didnt even work that well on that side because the tight turns were to the right which made the button hard to get to.

You need to map it to the shifter, but I don't think you can make the shifter do different things than the paddles.

You can map them differently. Ervin and I were playing with using the e-brake and clutch to initiate oversteer. I prefer the clutch ... especially for goofing off at higher speeds.
