dirt is a stretch and far cry from the colin mcrae rally games. What i've noticed, is if the developers put in a lot of time for crash damage/visuals, they don't put in time making anything worth driving. Which explains why GT is so damn good.
with gt5p, the difference between standard and professional physics is ridiculous. Some things in the S events I could not beat on pro but beat the first time around on standard. Pro will give you lift oversteer, bumps in the road throwing you off, turning while braking will send you into the wall, straightening the wheel too quickly will off you instantly. While a lot of people hate the GT series, it is all that and a bag of delicious chips. If you don't believe it, whatever.
