dirt is a stretch and far cry from the colin mcrae rally games. What i've noticed, is if the developers put in a lot of time for crash damage/visuals, they don't put in time making anything worth driving. Which explains why GT is so damn good.

with gt5p, the difference between standard and professional physics is ridiculous. Some things in the S events I could not beat on pro but beat the first time around on standard. Pro will give you lift oversteer, bumps in the road throwing you off, turning while braking will send you into the wall, straightening the wheel too quickly will off you instantly. While a lot of people hate the GT series, it is all that and a bag of delicious chips. If you don't believe it, whatever.

Because they heard I liked my name, so they put my name as my name so I could have my name in my name... all the time.

i never said that GRID physics were all that, I said GRID AI is where its at, one of the many places that both GT and FM could use improvement.

and say what you will, I enjoy dirt, as well as ITC, which is actually from the tokyo extreme racer series, but I have been following the series since its inception back in PS1/x days

i can't speak on juiced or nfs, as iunno, but, my ideas are that it will be very arcadey, if you want a crazy fun racing game pick up any ridge racer. Just don't expect ANY physics, LOL.

Bill you should be a master at kudos

anyways there is a chance that I will not be coming to this event, no garuntees though

Yes ... back on topic ...

Sean and I worked on some things for the event yesterday. We have a working online server that we can admin from his place and we spoke briefly about scoring specifics. I also designed a new course for the event that I hope you all like.

I think I'll work on a single Web page today with details about the event ...

              Back off topic:

The AI in Grid is what makes the game. You struggle very hard for positions and keeping them. Very exciting to play. But I don't think that game works well with the wheel.

I thought the 6th gear, 30 mph drifts made Grid? I need to play a real race next time I'm down there ...

I understand all of those. I'm well rounded in the realm of geek. although i would say, not many would capitalize pug.

                              kthxbye

I know ... but I have the bad habit of properly capitalizing acronyms, even in game chat.
