TVR just bought 10 sets of the new Chatterbox Tandem Pro2 in car communicators to help grow the PDX program. Now our instructors can communicate with the students without yelling. Looking forward to April.

Great idea! Usually instructors have to buy these, themselves. I think it was Steve Patterson who used one of these with me, a few years ago. It was like having the voice of God in your helmet instead of yelling back and forth:

        "Brake."

        "What?"

        "I said BRAKE!!!!"

        "Did you say snake?"

"Aw, crap, this is gonna hurt. . ."

Sounds like Chuck will be getting the special electric shocker undershirt to help get the message across. I only have one of those for those "special" students.

Has a date been set for this event? I see an April 20 event on TGP website. I am trying to decide to run with TVR or wait for ALSCCA event.

              Thanks.

It is in the sticky at the top of this forum...April 13-14. There is only one April event as ALSCCA & TVR partner to put on the Time Trial programs. The clubs are also holding a Fall TT/PDX at TGPR and a Labor Day TT/Club Race at Barbers (no PDX)

As Rod stated, there is a sticky at the top of the Time Trial Forum Section. But to make it easier, follow this link

Thanks. I was a little confused because the TGP website has the 20th listed for ALSCCA.

I don't know who "Heart of Dixie SCCA" is. I don't think that's an actual SCCA region. We are the Alabama Region SCCA. Huntsville is the Tennessee Valley Region (TVR) SCCA.

"Heart of Dixie" is the BMWCCA region for our area.

April 20th appears to be HOD PCA - http://hod.pca.org/ .

                            It's fixed, now.

Mrs. Upchurch said thanks for catching that.

I have a new toy that I am thinking of coming out to just drive around a bit at the
April event. Which of the two would be best for just running? PDX or TT?
Also on the website where you sign up it don't say on the sheet with the address
who to make the check out too?????
