            Re; Sept 26, 2009 clinic

I just wanted you to know how WONDERFUL the class was last Saturday. Crystal has always been afraid to drive in the rain (and she probably gets that from me). Since your class, I have noticed a tremendous boost in her driving confidence. She is so focused in the car now ... and can tell me what's going to happen before my eyes even focus!

She loved the class too. She loved Michael because he carried on a conversation with her in French. All the gentlemen there (and even the one woman) were AWESOME! I can't say enough good things about them.

I have told many people about this class... as a matter of fact, I have put a hand written note in the staff lounge for teachers to see. Most of them have kids that will be 15 or 16 soon. I have told each of them that I have more confidence in Crystal's driving now... and so does she.

Please keep up the good work. Your class will save a life!... or two... or three... or many, many, many!!

Thanks again... and thanks to all the guys for being wonderful and supportive.

              Re: Sept 26, 2009

Just wanted to let you know that Mike and Stephen had a great time at the clinic and both came away with a world of new knowledge. It was fun for Stephen, but I know it also gave him some confidence behind the wheel he didn't have as a new driver. I wish now that our older two could have attended. I do still have another driver coming along, however, he is only 11 years old! We have a few years to go!

              Thanks again,

                Re: Sept 26, 2009

I just finished a letter to Pastor Kevin Hamm thanking him for his generosity in allowing us to use his beautiful facility for your event. I asked him to tell parents he knew of 15 and 16 teenagers about your course.

We were very pleased with the way this was conducted. Your classroom instructions held everyone's attention and Marissa actually learned a lot. When you told the story of your daughter and taking the seats out but the driver's and taking the radio out, that really got her attention. We told her for the next two weeks at least not to listen to the radio till she got used to driving.

Yesterday I had to take her car to have a strip of moulding on the side that was loose repaired. When I told her I was coming to the school to get the car and would bring it back, she told her dad she feared we were going to remove her radio. See, what you said really got through!

Your classroom presentation was excellent and the course was excellent. I would like for you to add to this to your course or have another one on distractions. I saw something on T.V. about a course that sets up the cones as you do, and actually puts people in the back seat talking and laughing, and they play the radio loud and have the driver dial the cell phone, and text to show them that they have no control over the car when they are distracted. You can tell them all day, but showing says a lot. I saw a teen interviewed after the course and she said she didn't like the way texting caused her to lose control of her car. Just a suggestion since distractions cause so many accidents, and all teens have cell phones. We are having Marissa put her phone in her purse and put it in the back seat to eliminate the temptation.

The guys on the course did a great job. Thanks for doing this. Thanks for your time and effort.

Re: Sept 26 - STUDENT RESPONSE

My name is Crystal Tubbs, and I recently took your Driver Control Class and I loved it! My mother is now much, much more confident in my driving, and so am I.
I made something for you, by the way. Michael and David and I were speaking once and we thought of a poster idea. I finally got around to making it, so here you go

                      RE: Oct. 17, 2009 Clinic

                      Dear Greg,
I just wanted to say Thank you so very much to you and your staff for offering this wonderful, truly beneficial car control clinic. My husband and 16 year old son attended this past Saturday and they could not quit talking about it. They both said that it was so fun, but so beneficial and should be promoted to be offered to everyone. I am so glad that they had the opportunity to attend and we have recommended it to many of our friends and we will definitely attend again with our other children when they get their license and I may even have to attend one myself.
Thank you again for offering this very needed clinic. Let us know any way to help support you.
Sincerely, Dolly King (mother of Harrison King)

                        RE: Oct. 17, 2009 Clinic

I just wanted to send a personal thanks to you and your volunteer members for their time and patience. The clinic was the training I wanted to give Jessica but didn't know how. I do know I would never have been able to do half of what your members did. I can only say it again, thank you.

My only disappointment with the clinic was that I didn't bring a video camera to show grandma what her grandchild could do with the family car........

Keep up the good work; you may never know how many lives or injuries you have saved.

                        Sincerely
                        Fred Dove

Jen totaled her civic coming home from my graduation. The person in front of her nailed the brakes and she slid into the back of him (no ABS.) Can we get her stuck in a class next semester? I should be back in town by then too.

The bad part is that I knew it didn't have ABS and that she didn't have practice without it. I said something about finding a parking lot a couple of times but never pushed it. I guess I should have.
