Tough course for me today, but had great fun and made some new friends. Cholewa congratulations on your run with the Ferrari. My favorite driver AB drove very fast but something about the shootout eludes him. His protoge' almost won but Alan said something about ugly slowing him down. Good message today Eric, i enjoyed it. By the way Alan has named his new Tundra the SLOTUS. Enjoyed seeing everybody and missed Can't Waight, Andy and Patrick. Congratulations Lyle.

I loved the course! Thanks to the committee that built it.

Congrats to Lyle for winning the SSSSSSSSSSS, and again for winning it a second time.
Congrats to Alan, Cholewa, Eric, Matt and everyone else who earned a ticket to the dance.
Congrats to AB, the new Sheriff of CSP.
Congrats to Jordan for getting out the troops (Auburn's SAE crowd).
Thanks to all who helped make it a great day!

Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection ...... again.

Thanks to everyone in ALSCCA for putting on another great SSSS! The course was "ugly-tight" in a couple of places for a normal sized car (i.e. not a Miata), but fun and technical.... and LOOOOOONG

The t-shirts, food, and welcoming atmosphere in Birmingham were icing on the cake. And a big thank you to whoever ordered that afternoon thunderstorm - my body and tires appreciated the cooling effect

Another great event! C and I really enjoyed yesterday a lot, minus the heat and humidity. 14 novice! That class just keeps getting bigger and bigger and they are all getting faster and faster. You guys better watch out next year when they enter the regular classes! Congrats to all that made it into the shootout and to Lyle for pulling out another WIN!!!

Haha, yes great event, course was fun, I didn't enjoy all the turbo lag for me in the slower sections, but I had a blast.

                  Yes, what he said.
I did enjoy the food and was surprised i got a T shirt........ although after getting my tail handed to me my shirt needs to say,
"I drove all the way to Alabama, ran from the lightning, dodged the rain, got sunburned, killed some cones...................and all i got was this shirt!

                  See you guys next year!

Great event that had some typical SNAFU's that were out of our control. Super long course was fast and technical, with a couple tight spots to keep you on your toes. Thanks to everyone involved in set-up and breakdown for making it happen.

Congrats to Lyle Cain for winning the shootout, and to Eric Edwards for driving all the way to 2nd in a borrowed car! Also congrats to Mark Yearwood for staying so close to my times all day long. If I'm not careful, you'll be beating me soon!

+1 my car could not really fit through some gates, let alone over 25mph but i still had fun and learned a lot about my car. Hopefully next event we all get the same amount of runs... As always it was good seeing everyone and felt good getting away from work!

Did you not get 5 runs? I know it was originally going to be 6, but weather did not permit that. Let someone know if your run group gets cut short or you have car trouble. We want to make sure everyone gets their runs!

All gates were regulation 15 feet wide or more. Unless you were sideways, even a camaro should fit. Its the sideways thing that will get you. And it is always fun to watch you slinging the great silver beast around by the scruff of the neck.

Hey Eric....from our perspective, it appeared as though the second afternoon group got more runs (3, some even more) than the 1st afternoon group's 2 runs. Maybe that was the heat stroke getting to me, but that, +sunburn+worker shortage (from people leaving)+starvation+an 8-5:30 day...etc....etc....led to a tough afternoon for those of us who stuck it out standing on the blacktop all afternoon. I know I know...poor us!

                              Still had a blast though.

Great event, fun track, great company! Thanks!

Yeah, I was feeling similarly following the afternoon deluge. I would have sworn I saw some cars go through 3 or 4 times, but they were either re-runs or 2 driver cars. It seems longer the later in the day you get. I was working the first afternoon session and could not figure out whether you guys were doing 2 or 3 runs. I think it is safe to say that everyone got only 2 runs in the afternoon session unless their car broke or they got a rerun.

Glad you had fun (other than heatstroke)
