I had fun today, too - changing my oil. Woohoo! Seriously I've been dying to get under there and figure it out and turns out it's pretty durned easy. Film at 11! We're still in moving mode and will be for the next month or so. I hope to be back out in May or June.1988 911 :: #41 BSP

I had a blast as always!! Thanks to everyone that had a hand in setting up. That course was REALLY fun today. My new tires (Azenis RT-615) seemed to like it too...those things are sticky!!!
Yoder, thanks for helping me out with tire pressure, and BIG thanks for your constructive criticism of my driving. I'll try to remember it next month; and hopefully I'll be able to loosen up a bit.
If anyone else ever feels like playing mentor for a bit, then feel free to take a ride with me and help me pick out my mistakes.

Ditto the "great course" comments. Loved the optional slalom at the beginning...we talked about it at lunch and came away with no consensus. I never did get the last 180 just before the trip to the lights down. Still trying to figure it out. But a great course and great fun.

Great event and great course! I had a great time and would like to thank Hannah for riding with me on my last run which would've been fast enough for a CSP win but alas this day it was not...AlanBranch is the new CSP Marshal.
I'll get you next month, you and you're little whizzin' ebay car too!
Just kiddin' CSP is sucha blast because we're always a 10th or 2 apart. Last month I had FTD this month I was 5th. Sheesh!John W8

Hats off to the course designer ... I loved the course! I just wish that 180 at the end wasn't off camber ... I got the entry down on my 3rd run, but I could never nail the exit without lots of push.
As for results, expect them this evening. I've got to make some adjustments for a novice that was classed incorrectly after the registration wipe over lunch. It shouldn't take long.
And yes JW, CSP was interesting yesterday ... you guys are all over the board with that Marshall badge.Matt W.

I think some of the novices were or are confused about the number and class system. At start there were a few guys with N on their car but said they weren't registered for novice class and other that were novices but had no idea they needed to be classed as such. That's why I think there was some confusion when I'd call in a car number and youse guys in the trailer thought I was making stuff up.
When folks get registered we need to tell them EXACTLY what their class is and TECH needs to remind them to get the numbers on the car. Just my .02¢John W8
