Nice course today Ervin ,,,WFO.Best yet IMHO but not terribly or in the least technical ...it was all determined by who could stand to stand on it .I just wish I could have gotten a clean run at some point. Sorry cone chasers. My fun runs were probably the fastest of my day but that was probably because all of the cones of death were already down

Thanks for a great day everyone! I had a blast as usual and I am getting alot more comfortable with the car as a novice. I am already looking forward to the next one. Hopefully I will have a new suspension setup on my car by then.

Thanks for the great times today...my second event and am loving it. This course was definitely tailored a little more to my car then the last event. Finish was SUPER fast...I trapped 60+ through the lights.

          Thanks again guys.

i drive the red bmw that DIDN'T take out the timing lights!!!!!!! thanks for a great day today. i really enjoyed the course and getting used to tires that actually grip (hence Mark's bmw taking out the timing lights). i am looking forward to the next event and the rest of the season.

WOW i am so glad that the Kilgore family didn't have to purchase new timing lights for ALSCCA

            see everyone soon.

glad you guys had fun, honestly the course was supposed to be tighter, but, what can you do this was my first course here, I had a blast, I learned one thing yesterday though, there is no such thing as a high HP course, there I was topping out 3rd and I still got devastated by Dr. Branch, thats right, you aren't a marshall anymore Alan, you're a surgeon

I had a great time yesterday guys. I love fast courses, but I have to agree with Ricky as far as safety is concerned. I used my brakes harder after the finish than anywhere else on the course

Hopefully I will have my other set of wheels/tires ready by the next event. I'll be going from a 225/45-17 combo that weighs ~48 lbs. to a 205/50-15 combo that weighs ~37 lbs. AND the new tires will lose about 1.5 inches in diameter, so I should be able to feel considerable gearing difference. I'm pretty pumped. Watch out Chris I've got you in my sights!

if thats the case you just weren't driving fast enough...

there really wasn't a safety issue with the finish, there was only about 1/2 a mile of runoff room.

but just for you, next course I do, I will slow the finish down

                          All these people hitting cones???

I was kind of suprised that I didn't hit any cones with the Land Yacht yesterday. Then I realized that I didn't hit any because I could only generate about 23.46 mph of forward momentum. What a hog of a car that thing is, lol. It turned good enough, but how could it not turn with so little momentum? I would have run it a few more times, but after run 1 I had a look at the sidewalls. YIKES! It seems the right front was taking the bulk of the abuse and looked like it might have wanted to part company with the rim. Not a great idea!

Shea's WRX, SICK FAST! Cholewa's Wabbit, National contender with a real transmission and some setup. The Rabbit has 92 times the torque of a Mini and an awefully good chassis. Thanks for letting take them for a ride folks. Made my day.

This was my first time out to autocross in several years. I had loads of fun and plan to be back soon. I really appreciate Sara and C for being such excellent novice chiefs. That was really helpful.

Also, I thought the high speed at the end of the course was great.

a great event indeed! that course was a ton of fun, it's great to be able to floor it in several sections every once and a while. looks like i'm going to have a very tough battle in SM this year with Erv.

can't wait til end of the month!!!!!
