well, I did the drive throughs mainly because I wanted to make sure the course worked (and it did!) and I wasn't really running, so it didn't really give me any advantage. If I was goig to be running the mini it wuld have been a safety drive through and done.
Those drive throughs during the design allowed to find and tweak several little things that would have been MAJOR issues if we hadn't found them. I think it worked out great and Ervin's course was awesome!

Yes the Novice Class was great. Thanks Sara / C for heading that up. Thanks to all the experienced folks for helping out!Originally posted by EvoLady View Postoh and i also wanted to thank all of the experienced drivers that helped with the novices! i think having all the novice on one side of the grid and the experienced drivers on the other worked out great. i believe that all of them got a chance to ride before they drove the course which is a great help for them. so thanks guys!!!
Daryl - if you would be kind enough to show Vincent how to do them I would appreciate it. He is the worker Chief and that should fall under his "area of responsibility."Originally posted by engled View PostSpeaking of the lights, who ever is doing equipment set up this season needs to learn how to set the lights up.
I appologize for not recgonizing all the folks who worked Sunday. I am just getting into the swing of things. I appreciate all of the setup help and all of the clean up help. This looks like it is going to be a great season!

honestly I think it's a fluke. Think about it, posting a 66, that's faster than just about everyone else out there. with those tires? I don't think so. but i'm glad you enjoyed the rabbit.Originally posted by dpeele95 View PostYou also left your pride when you let me destroy you in your own car, during the fun runs.M. Cholewa

Whatthe!$@#?
Wally aka "Country Boy" running wore out V710s beat Darryl aka "255 Tony" by 7/10ths!
Congrats to Alan for the win by 2.2 seconds in only 2 runs apparently and to Wally Lacey for a solid 2nd place!
When are those new tires coming in Wally?
Hey I thought all CSP was 3 runs and done for scoring? Wally's 2nd place came on his 4th run.John W8

Yeah, Wally beat up on me pretty bad, I e-mailed him about the results but I haven't heard from him yet. I'm sure he told start to call in DNFs for his last two runs but I wonder if they got put it on the wrong run. He told me he didn't get a clean run until his fourth or fifth run so I'm pretty sure the results are wrong, but I'm sure it wouldn't have changed the results. We need to take a look at the results at the end of the day to make sure they are right before they become official.Originally posted by JohnW8 View PostWhatthe!$@#?

I'll double check CSP results and modify for the 3 and done agreement. I wasn't working timing for CSP and I'm not sure how it was handled.
EDIT :: Wally has 5 timed runs with runs 2 and 3 being DNFs. Run 4 was his fastest as mentioned.Last edited by TouringBubble; 03-10-2009, 12:44 PM.Matt W.

No biggie Matt, thanks for helping us out with it. I think Wally had some cones on his first three runs and no DNFs but I could be wrong. Maybe he will pipe in later today. If he really did get real DNFs on his second and third I guess it would make a difference but I didn't think that's the case.

Wally just sent me an email saying that he did DNF on his second and third run so he should be scored on his first run only. Wally was unaware that he got DNF's until he talked with one of the course workers.
It would be nice if the announcer would announce thing like this, I enjoy the banter as much as the next guy but the times, cones and DNFs are the most important. I have been guilty of missing a cars when have to fill that spot so I do understand how easy it to miss one.

The way I understood is that anyone running 3 and done would call in t&s to DNF their last runs - I was working t&s for CSP and I never got a call for anyone wanting to DNF them... but as long as matt can fix it then everything's ok!- Jordan, GS-15
