Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

    The only way I can duplicate the error you are seeing is to log out, you are obviously logged in or you couldn't post. The permissions on the file are set to viewable by all but non logged in users. Try clearing your cache and cookies.

          Tried clearing cookies and cache, verified I was indeed logged in, and I still cannot see the image.

                    FYI...I am using the Chrome browser on windows machines and the Chrome OS on another and have no issues seeing the pics.

                      Yeah, I tried Chrome and it works for my test user. Hmmm, I hope it's not a database problem.

                                I just got an email from PBOC. They make it sound as if this event will be sanctioned by the Region. Here's their exact text -

                                Alabama Region SCCA has been invited to conduct an Auto Cross on the third level This event is open to all:
                                They will be charging $1 per run for those who want to just show up and run. They will look over any car in an informal Tech inspection, but if you're car can be driven to the site, more then likely the car will pass the tech inspection. Basically we will just look at the battery tie down, tires, check brake pedal, and make sure the wheels are secured properly.
                                An M rated or better helmet will be required, as well as closed toe shoes.
