Okay, early workers get prepared for some sweeping and some leaf blowing in the morning. We have several spots where there are bottles broken. The lot itself is fairly clean compared to what we have seen the past few events, but we need to focus on cleaning the broken glass.
See you bright and early. Or early atleast, probably not bright.

Great event!!! Thanks to the Kilgore boys and all of the setup crew for a really fun day. 69 drivers is outstanding, I hope to see 100 by the end of the season. Results?

+1 on the great event today! Made new friends as we had STR competitors from 2 other regions join us, and at least 4 regions represented.

Can't wait to see the results. I was second in class by only 0.069 seconds and, discounting one FSAE car who had FTD, I believe that 0.069 seconds covered the top three "real car" raw times today. Heck, the top four may be separated by less than 0.1 seconds.

Plus, I *think* I managed to get fastest Miata

Oh, and Ben won a 31 member Novice class and made his first 4 solo runs ever since he is now 16

I had a lot of fun today. It was a simple but challenging couse - it required patience to get through the 1st half and bravery to get through the 2nd haha. Thanks to everyone who was involved and for making us out-of-towners feel welcome!

Here is a video from my car today

                    There's a reason I bought a box of sunglasses.

Had a great time Saturday with everyone, and the best part was my daughter, Sherry Leigh came to autocross with us. She just started to learn last weekend on how to use the miata's manuel tranny. She really didn't want to run at first because of having a little difficulty with the clutch on the start. Each run she improved greatly and by her 5th run she broke into the 30's with a 39 and change. She was really enjoying it and hope she wants to come to all of them with me. It won't take her many before she starts spanking her Daddy. (Smack talk welcome). Thanks for making her and her college roomates feel so welcome, and thanks to Eric for bringing his talents by sharing the word of God. Appreciate our club, wally.

Had fun in my wagon...even though I ended up with a flat. Was a fun day, and I slept like a boss Saturday night.

She came far since her first run. I was working start, and each launch was better.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.
