As we continue to move forward with our new site and Solo program, into the hot months of the summer, expect more FUN. We had an excellent turnout for our Points 3 event, and I thank everyone for coming out and making that day great.

2011 Points Event no. 4 will be held at Verizon Wireless Music Center, Saturday June 18th. Please post up here for positions on the setup crew.

For those of you who want to be on the setup crew but have never done it, show up early and get a feel for what is needed. Help out where you can and learn from those who are there. These are your events, if you want them to be great, help to make them great.

We really need some people to start training for Registration/Waivers/Timing. If you are interested in these places specifically please let Mark or John Kilgore know.

I would also like to point out, that early waivers is the only set up position that allows you to not work any more during the day.

So if you do early waivers, you do not have to work a station for the rest of the day.

If you do anything else in the early set up, you do have to work.

Good points Michael. I have also warned Sam that if we have a low turnout he may indeed have to get another work assignment (although our current site does minimize that risk). That "work assignment for the day" thing doesn't work out all the time

Alright, we need two volunteers that have been participating in AutoX long enough to know what to look for during Tech Inspection.

I would also like to get some names of people who would be willing to start designing courses. Eric Edwards will be designing the course this weekend, but we need more people stepping up and participating in all the things that make our club survive. If you are interested in learning the ins and outs of course design, please show up early and help Eric with set-up and he can talk you through some of the things to look for.
