I know nothing about the incident but noob drivers with non-noob cars can be a handful. The instructor can only do so much from the passenger seat. I will say that I have taken the steering wheel out of a students hands before, and I know I'm not the only instructor to have done so. I had a guy with a swapped 240 that was that way. I was happy just getting him to a safe level. I wasn't trying to get him any faster because he lacked the basics, and he scared me a little.

I think that was me...if it was at Barber. Although there was no wheel grabbing, peeing or screaming(that I know of). Grey car-with a sticking caliper?

I don't remember a sticking caliper. We pulled off after T1 with a popped loose turbo house though. We worked hard on braking and apexing and I believe I tried to force you start auto-xing at one point.

My wheel grab was at Nashville. I had a woman who listened well and picked up a lot in a shot time, but she could not get the turn in for T2 down. For all my talking and hand signals she kept turning in about half a mile early. She started turning in one lap and I turned the wheel back straight, with a "not yet," then a "now." She had that turn down after that. Had that been a 60mph turn instead of a 25 mph I probably wounldn't have done that. It was also in a RX-8, which I'm pretty sure I could drive from the passanger seat, I think they're smaller than a miata.

Another bump for cheap track time with friends on a fine autumn day. DLBRacing.com is showing 13 entrants and I have 4-5 instructors on hand. We need some more drivers and more instructors. It can't get any cheaper for this kinda fun.
