You don't need to send it in. Just bring it to the track with you.

Well I am glad I posted on here. I would have missed the event.

Glad to hear I can bring the paper work 'in hand' to the track.

The info doc is here but says:

          Personal Safety Equipment:
          1. All drivers must wear cotton long pants, cotton long-sleeved shirts and closed footwear with rubber soles while on course. Fire resistant suits are not required but are recommended. Any crew members over the wall in the Pit Lane must be similarly attired.
          2. A helmet with a rating of Snell M-2000 or higher must be work while on course.
          3. Drivers in open cars (with roll bars) must wear arm restraints.

Car Eligibility info is also in the doc.

                      Spell check doesn't do names.

I won't have internet for about a week but John knows how to get me with any questions.

I am all registered up now....but only the 8th one to register? Whats up with that?

I am in the process of working on my car right now as we speak. Putting an LSD unit in the rear and replacing the rear wheel bearings (both sides completely shot). I'm hoping to have it ready to get it corner weighted and aligned next week!

OK everyone dont leave your club holding the bag on this .So far we have about 6 people registered and the majority if not all of them are new names .This was voted unanimously among the BoD that we needed to do this for the membership so go register.

Its modestly priced ,its a great track especially for beginners who havent yet got totally addicted to track days .You will get a ton of track time ,in fact you will probably be tired enough to call it quits before its over .Thats my kind of track day.Its relatively easy on tires,if you aspire to run TT in the future ,this is where the TT school is held every year so get a leg up on your other competition with some quality seat time ,the instructors have logged hours upon hours in the seat at this track so you will have top notch line and technique instruction specific to this track .Its win win win.

Since i am the solo chairman I am putting this out there too .We are still needing a few corner workers for this and if you work I am offering the solo the day after which is October the 26th for free to those folks who work.I am also offering free entry in that same solo to folks who run the PDX and the solo the following day.

Additionally I will have some hooters gift cards and gift certificates from Big 10 tires for door prizes exclusively for workers. We need at least 5 corner workers.I am calling DLB in a few minutes to get a worker link established so you workers can take advantage of this opportunity .

Drive well and see you at the track,

Thanks Ricky for the info! I was wanting to attend the Solo event the next day as well to make a weekend out of it anyway! Now everyone has the perfect excuse to go for FREE who signs up (pending any mechanical issues). My first PDX experience was at TGPR and I must say that it was THE PEOPLE that made the difference. I know that times are rough financially for alot of folks right now, but this is the last event in this area before it gets cold so folks need to dig deep!!!

My car and myself will be there and I can't wait to get out on the new configuration! The last time I was there was before they changed the course up so I have alot to learn. Still think that turn 3 (clockwise) is going to be a bitch as usual though...lol.

Just got my LSD installed this weekend so the car is ready-going Friday hopefully to get the suspension setup with the help of Mr. Chuck Badder...

                            -Vincent.

Turn 3 is always a PITA for me too.Nah...youll love the new configuration and it flows very well in CCW.The sweeper is still very fast maybe even faster than before.

Vincent, that's Mr. Chuck Baader. He's a good source of automotive knowledge and from what I saw at the Labor Day race a pretty good driver, but if you misspell his name, He might get cranky about that.
