We need more instructors and drivers for the PDX folks .I am the instructor chief so anyone interested in instructing please email me nismoautoxr@hotmail.com with your full name and your experience level and what you drive so that pairing is easier.

Additionally we also have plenty of student spots open .Presently we have 13 people signed up as students /drivers and 2 instructors .To register please go to www.dlbracing.com

Refunds & Withdrawals:
Cancellations received more than 14 days prior to the event will be given full refund less a $25 process fee. Cancellations received less than 14 days prior to the event will receive 50% refund.

guys and gals .Please dont forget to have a $5 bill at the gate to teh track Saturday on entry .The track management has hired a gate worker that works for the track so they started at the beginning of this year charging $5 entry to those entering per day to offset the cost of that new salary.

Man, I can't wait for the PDX! I haven't been in the racecar since the Roebling School and I'm really looking forward to some track time without distractions. Woohooooo!

Im looking forward to it as well.I can't believe we didn't have more folks take advantage of this .We only have 13 people signed up to drive and 4 instructors signed up .That is amazing and horrifying all at the same time im bringing the flatbed for wrecker service for the event .You knuckle draggers better not make me have to use it .

How many novices? When I looked at the list I thought most of them were experienced but there were a few names I didn't recognize.

Looking at the experience info most, 10 or so, have some track experience, and probably around 1/2 are experienced and won't need anything, so 4-6 instructers are actually probably ok.

Great day at TGPR today .Track time was o'plenty.Everyone behaved themselves for the most part.I only had to fire the wrecker up one time for a mechanical.Thanks to all who participated and thanks most to those who worked and didnt run .Thanks Jerry Vogel and Steve Patterson for being our safety stewards .Thanks Evan Waugh for putting hte event together.

Anybody who seriously considered this event and passed on it without good reason should be ashamed. I stopped by when I could, in the afternoon between home nursing assignments, and got the impression that the cars and drivers were going to run out of energy before the clock ran out. More track time than the traffic could bear!

Unfortunately, with such poor attendance, it's difficult to justify another event in the future. . .

Maybe we should hear all the good reasons why folks avoided this event in droves, and learn from that.
