I have ...Originally posted by AlanB View PostRicky, how does this look compared to your tune:
Launch retard above (RPM) = 4100
Retard to (deg) = 10
Enable Launch Control when TPS above = 95%
Launch Launch hard limit = 4000
Limiter Method = Fuel cut
Cut X Sparks (not sure if it changes when you change to fuel cut) no change
From Y events (not sure if it changes when you change to fuel cut)no change
Flat shifting arming RPM : 5000 (this needs to be lower than the value below)
Flat shift mode retard above 5200?
Retard to (degrees) : 0
Launch/Flatshift
Launch Retard above: 3800
Retard 20: -25
Launch TPS: 10% (basically enabling rev limit protection, can go higher, but no need for launch. I think I lowered this for testing and just never changed it.)
Launch hard RPM: 3900
Limiter method: Spark cut (I'm a ricer)
Cut x: 7
From y: 9
Flat shift arming RPM: 4800
Flat shift retard above: 5300
Retard to: -25 (again, ricer)
Flat shift hard limit: 5500
The main thing to remember is that the launch and flat shift RPMs need to have a slight spread, so you aren't enabling both at once.
These settings have worked great for both launch and flat shift, thought I've only used flat shift a couple of times. The launch control settings are good for a nice WRC style launch, with cool flames and a nice, tight RPM spacing. Flat shift response is nice as well, but is a little looser with the bounce. No real reason ... and I haven't tested it a lot. I usually only shift once, so ...Matt W.
