Glad to hear you are okay and able to keep driving. I'm sure we all share concern over the car, but I'll be overjoyed to see you running the novice meeting again and frankly I don't care what car you are driving.

ps. Though you should be driving a G-stock mini.....

I know I keep meaning to ride by and find your house, but I haven't had a chance. I've seen your car at the VFD in Margrette a few times when I go by.
I sent you a map, the road between old margaret and hillcrest is quite a bit of fun, just don't take a run down it around dinner time as our PD eats in Odenville most nights. Don't be afraid to stop in if you see me at the station either.

I know of this car personally and it's about 6mi from my house ... 1mi from work. I'd be happy to check it out for you. My only warning on this specific car is that the engine was rebuilt with used parts ... I know that for sure. I can find out mileage on the used parts as well if you are at all interested. Let me know.
If you get it, you could ditch the meth kit ... that's why the engine blew the first time.
thanks Matt. yeah i know that car too, i met the original owner years ago when i had first bought mine. C and i were actually going to look at it a week or so ago but it was sold. guess that didn't work out. we've got a lead on another one we are working on. if it doesn't pan out might have to look at this one again although i'm not really excited that the motor has been redone.
thanks for looking out for me!!!!! i need to race soon me going crazy.

I'd keep the meth. just tune it without it and run it 50/50 for safety, or just run straight water. The problem is when you tune for it and then run out of it.
So I had to look it up. Under Street Pepared rules on p93,
G. Intake water injection systems are allowed.
It does say in the rules on p26
21) Alcohol may not be used in manifold injection or spray bottles unless it is specified for this use by the OEM.
So that means its ok for SM, as long as it's water and not a mix. That makes because water doesn't "actually" give you any more power, where alcohol can. That's nice to know, I'm glad you made me look it up.
