Just got a new-to-me 2004 RX-8. Once I explained to my wife that it is really a sedan (it has 4 doors and 4 seats, so that is true) despite all the marketing hype about it being a Sports Car(lightweight, 2 seat, RWD, No Fixed Roof, with Racing capability), she agreed to getting one. Especially since I can haul both kids in it.

I've been away from the autocross track for several years, but expect to be back out there next year. I can't wait to experience what the Corvette guys have known for years - what its like to have your butt handed to you by $3000 Miatas.

She's a real rocket ship, so I thought I'd use the old American rockets, like Jupiter or Saturn. Alan Branch is already using URANUS, so that is out...

This is one of those deals that just all comes together like clockwork. Not sure why, but I have a real sense that this is ordained from on high, and I'm serious. I prayed that the transaction would go smoothly and it just couldn't have worked out more smoothly. From start to finish, it was easy-peasy. God works in wierd ways and this appears to be one.

Oh man, awesome car! It's in my favorite color too (for a car anyway).

I loved the RX-8 since before they even hit the market. I saw one on display in a mall and just stood there in a trance. There's nothing about that car I don't like, pure sex!

I'm saving up for one now as a matter of fact, but I'm paying cash outright for mine. I'm never doing car payments again. If it takes 10 years to save enough to get one so be it...maybe I'll buy yours!!

Yea!!! More rotary people...lol. That is something that I have got to do is drive an RX-8. I'd like to see how it compares to the my RX7.

Congrats! Just remember to check the oil every time you fill up and you'll be good to go!
