BTW, has anybody looked at the Club charter, lately, to confirm this date? I've heard rumors that it may not be exactly accurate. Maybe the idea came to be in that year, but the formality of being recognized by, and becoming part of, SCCA may have been a bit later.
Also, if any of the original members are still around, especially those who signed the charter, they should be honored guests for any commemoration.Chuck Schultz

Agreed. A 59 years party is just as good as a 60 years party! If this can be done with a reasonable budget, it should be an annual event IMO.
