Cholewa,
I'm all for free speech and have been known to reel off a string of cuss words that would make a sailor blush but on the forum and for the sake of free speech and the elimination of word filtering I ask that you please, watch the language.
Don't let the admins punish all of us by treating us like children.

So I'm in the middle of nowhere tethering my non-apple phone with my unlimited data plan, and I'm only getting 1.3 mbps. Should I switch to AT&T for better coverage?Erik B.
Why do I keep racing these weird cars?
Why can't I just get a miata and be happy?

Definitely! AT&T gives you access to really cool parts of the internet that you just can't access with any other provider. Verizon and T-Mobile don't want you to know this, because if people knew than everyone would go to AT&T and the others would go bankrupt.
AT&T has the Apple products that are the best and have the best service and apps. There are only like 3 usable apps for Android, and like no games. Plus, it crahses all the time. The service with AT&T is so much faster ... you can DL apps and games and internet stuff like 1.0002 times faster than on any other service.
The look of the iPhone has an appeal that chicks dig too ... See! I just got that chicks number as she left the Apple Store in the mall! Awesome! Oh, dude ... can I borrow your Droid so I can call her real quick ...

I was going to show my friends how much power my new STI has, so I revved it up really high and dropped the clutch to do a burnout. There was a loud "bang" noise and now it just sounds like it's crying when I let out on the clutch. What's wrong? Is there a button I need to press or something?Matt W.

They actually did a not so scientific study and found that iphone users are more likely to get laid than android users..Originally posted by TouringBubble View PostDefinitely! Because they heard I liked my name, so they put my name as my name so I could have my name in my name... all the time.

I thought the study result was that female iPhone users were more likely to "engage in intercourse" on a date, in comparison to women using other smart phones, like BB, Android or WinMo.Matt W.

It gauged number of partners, age, and phone OS. Then they did something comparing photos of people partying, and found out which phones were more prevalent in the photos, and which phones took the pics.M. Cholewa

Different study then ... still very interesting. The iPhone is part of"the scene" right now though, so I completely buy the idea.Matt W.

I got my wife an iPhone for Valentines day...I get laid all the time!
I need to bleed my brakes but from the rear passenger wheel I can't seem to stretch my leg far enough to reach the pedal. Is there a way to do it from under the car?97 Civic HB - FSP Lucky#13

they make expensive tools for bleeding brakes by yourself ... but they are all a joke! Don't waste your money. Just open the bleeder valve, go inside the car and press the pedal and release it, then close the valve. That whole "pump and hold" thing is a ploy by the fluid manufacturers to sell more product.
On the way to work this morning I got a nail stuck in my tire. Damn construction workers! the tire place I went to said they couldn't patch it. The nail is stuck in right at the edge of the tread and goes down the sidewall for about 1.5" and then in to the inside of the tire. Why can't they patch it? Can I patch it with one of those kits from Advance?Matt W.

It's not the construction workers' fault that you have a flat tire. All of the tire shops spread nails randomly to drum up more business, then they tell you that you HAVE to buy a new tire. What a bunch of crooks!
The kit from Advance or Walmart will work but make sure not to put air back in the tire. As a matter of fact you need to get ALL of the air out. Step 1) Remove nail. Step 2) Drill hole in tire for rope plug. Step 3) Dip said plug in pipe cement. Step 4) Install plug. Step 5) Buy one of those cheap portable air compressors. dissassemble it. Reverse the polarity on the 12v motor inside. Install the hose on the valve stem and it will pump any remaining air out of the tire. Step 6)Once you have the tire plugged, fill it with fix-a-flat. About 20 cans should do the trick. HTH
I'm ready to give my car a complete makeover. I have a budget of about $20. I think I'm going to add some pinstripes. Should I try the stick-ons from autozone, or leave it up to a professional? Has anyone ever tried one of those paint pens?Last edited by bimmertech; 08-25-2010, 10:13 PM.
