Yes, it's the 2.5mile course that uses the infield as well as the NASCAR banking. This is the layout they are showing:Originally posted by e30Racer View PostIs the AMS track day including the infield course? I assume so. Can't wait to see videos from that.Attached Files

Putting costs on there is a great improvement!Originally posted by farrout View PostJerry - Thanx for the feedback. I added the costs and track time to the first page.
Track time and # of sessions is difficult to be precise about. I set up the run groups depending on the number of drivers. There might be 5 to 6 groups on a weekend. Track time can be around 3 hours depending on the # of groups.
You are not getting such a great deal at AMP for $180 a day. That is $360 for the weekend. Ditto for Atlanta MotorSpeedway. Add in your extra travel costs to get there. How much track time?
I got 6, ~20 minute session for that $180 at AMP. So 2 hours of track time, seems like a pretty good deal to me? Much better than TGPR as to me it's a better track, has elevation change, and I feel like I learn more driving it. Again just my opinion.
I was just comparing single day prices. I don't really think I'd need two days at a track. I was done by the last session and only did half of it. The only time I might do a two day is a new, to me, track.
Also time wise for me (from Auburn) it's only about 30min farther to AMP (2.5hrs) vs TGPR (2hrs). AMP is all interstate drive while TGPR is all highway and back road. Atlanta Motor Speedway is actually closer than TGPR, only 1h45min from Auburn. All three I can wake up and drive up the morning of the event so there's no real travel costs associated other than gas.
Also the Atlanta Motor Speedway is put on by the same group as my last 2 AMP track days so with their schedule setup I'd be looking at 2 hours of track time for less than $200 (single day cost).
Again just feedback but because of my location (Auburn) travel costs are really irrelevant between TGPR, AMP, AMS, Barber, and Road Atlanta (all less than 2.5hr drive). I can easily wake up and drive the day of so there are no hotel costs, camping, etc.

I'd rather have feedback like Jerry's before the event rather than people give feedback by just not showing up to the event.

Good to know, I don't ever go to the main site. My bookmark leads straight to the board.Originally posted by e30Racer View PostThey are linked on the TT section of our website under the registration tab
BTW not trying to be a dick about this stuff, just offering an opinion on areas that could be tweaked or improved.

Thanks Mark, I've found them in the supps before as well. However that's not linked here and as far as I can tell not linked off of motorsportreg either?
Maybe I'm missing out on some other website or page where all that gets posted? Is there another southeast region website that I should bookmark?

The easiest place to find the price is in the Supps, but for most people that's not the first place they think to look. I agree with you Jerry, I always hated how you had to go all the way through registration on motorsportreg before you could see the price. Makes more sense to have it on the first page.

Then I'd have to buy a new set of tires! TGPR is probably just out for me because of price and tire wear vs other tracks. I'm also wanting to get out on track at other locations so I'll be saving my money for those.Originally posted by JohnW8 View PostSo, sign up for the 2 day at $300. That's only $150 a day and twice the track time!
Bargain!
If there's another Santa Run type thing like Casey did before I might do that at the end of the year.
