Really liked hearing the times as they were being committed. Good job, and please do it again.

Kyle...BIG THANKS for the job you and family did!

It was a pleasure to have you all with us. Gina did a great job posting up results and her smile and cheerfulness distracted many of us from being frustrated with our slow times! Also thanks for announcing... that really adss a lot to the event... to hear how you or competitor did. We appreciate your contributions and hope to have you with us at more Time Trial/PDX events NEXT year! Which reminds me... have you ever announced at a hillclimb? What are you doing in March? www.dragonhillclimb.com
        THANKS! Ted

          Hillclimbs etc...

Ted...thanks for those nice encouraging remarks. Gina's the light of our lives in our family.

As of yesterday, I was nominated to run as RE for the Atlanta Region...this wasn't on the radar at all, and the turn of events that led to that surprised me. But I am willing to take the baton and try to run with it.

As with most things, light bulbs go off in my head and I just do them...sometimes they work out, and I am happy that announcing the times was one of those things (lol...like using a whistle as starter at SOLO events...everyone said..."why didn't we think of that?"...for me, it's not important that I thought of it, only that it gets done!

If time and schedule permits, PLEASE keep me updated regarding the hillclimb...I'll add it to my schedule...we don't have those here (yet), and I am interested in learning/participating. I always try to add something to repay what I usually learn and take away.

Thanks Andy...the roulette was cool as well. I only wish I could have crunched the numbers for you but we got a little busy with the one computer...lol.

Alex is still talking about trying on your HANS device....thanks for that.

We enjoyed TGPR a lot...reminded me of my home track of Roebling years ago...and was glad to see Craig there just last weekend.

If I can't make it out to the next event in AL, make sure you tell the tower you want things announced "Kyle style"!

                Equipment left at TGPR

I was giving the following items, as we broken down things Sunday as it was thought they belonged to an ATL member but I don't think so.

                VP 5g fuel jug
                Oragne fuel funnel
                air pressure gauge
shoes - puma brand I think

These are in my garage in ATL and can be claimed, but not sure when I'll be able to return given the logistics.

Let me know if you left this at the track.

Kyle, I think you have set the bar for announcing during a TT event. IT was really good to hear things as they were happening on track then the summary of the fastest times as car came of the track.

You were announcing time for SooZee and John K sunday morning as they went back and forth with very close times lap after lap. Rod and I were watching and listening and it really added to the fun.

Great job by the entire Diodati family! A pleasure to meet the entire crew for Soozee and I.

                    Silver streak...

                    Mike...thanks for those kind words.

Traveling to AL was a shot in the arm for us, as the enthusiasm in the AL/TVR ranks gave us a much needed refresh.

Event though we're AR members, we're all gear heads, and we go where the oil is flowing I suppose. We look forward to participating and doing whatever needs doing in SCCA, whichever region. I honestly hope that AL/TVR folks will continue to include us in events and give us an opportunity to help out.

                    Cheers...

Sounds like we went to new heights yet again at TGPR this year. My thanks to everyone who stepped up and took over for me. Thanks especially to the workers and the drivers. Without workers, we do not get to put these events on.

All suggestions are gratefully apprediciated as to how we can improve these events.

In the Fastrack that comes out on Oct 20th, you will see new TT Rules that are focused on the driver and what they need to to for TT events. The new TT Rules are simplified and reduced. Read them and let me know how you like them (or not)

In SEDIV TT we want to make the events fun and enjoyable for both workers and drivers.
