Any idea how much the cost is for each, because if you go to MotorsportReg it doesn't tell you the cost until you register.
I have already registered, but I've had a few people ask me the cost of the PDX, and it drives me crazy that you don't have the cost in the supps.
I agree. I wish it was on the front page of Motorsport reg but you have to dig in to find them. To simplify here's the fee for the No Frills TT at TGPR
Time Trials entry: $275.00
TT + instruct (must have a TT License): $150.00
PDX entry (2 day): $275.00
PDX entry (1 day): $200.00
PDX Drive and Instruct (previous experience required): $150.00
PDX Drive 1 day and Work 1 day: $150.00
I hate it but unless about $650 falls out of the sky for a better radiator I am going to have to sit it out . Pretty bummed too since its a double points event. Maybe itll happen but its pretty thin .

Looking hard at this one ....but also looking at doing ala cart with a griffin. The griffin is 450 but then I gotta do hoses and fans and such because my present stuff will not work so the hinson unit looks to be a fair tradeoff being its the easy button where the plumbing and fans are concerned and its a bolt in affair. ...245* after 4 hard laps at Barbers was not OK. I just dont wanna blow it up .
Can you not make a Mishimoto or something like that work for you. They have so many options on radiators, I would think you could find one that would fit your needs. And cut that cost in half.
Or is it possible that ducting would help your situation? I haven't looked at your car that close in the front, so I don't know. Just throwing random thoughts out. I also hate it when people do that to me. Sorry bout that.
John Kilgore...if winning was easy, losers would do it.
Team9Racing BMW 325i, Old Faithful (with a little evil)
got the mishimoto badass in it now and does fine on the street even with AC but it just aint a thick enough core for its height and length. Longer you push the thing the hotter it gets.

Use a race radiator for a stock car. There are several options, but AFCO offers several. If you want to get me some measurements I can help you out with one. As for fans, use Ford Taurus Fans. They will move some air and they are variable speed. Probably better than the SPAL fans and I sell SPAL (not saying they are bad, I have one on the CRX). They are two speed and there are options out there for control units. You can snag them at PAP or I have a couple here at the shop from PAP.
I expect you could put this all together for around the price of the Griffin.
Im using a fan from a Volvo s60 on it right now and that bad boy moves a ton of air. More than the derales I had on it before by a ton plus its shrouded and covers the entire core so it does a great job but with a thicker core that fan will likely not clear the waterpump and if it does its gonna be tight for sure. Ill get some measurements of the core and shoot you a PM Brett.
