Need Workers for TGPR

You may not realize it, but it takes about 22 workers on site to put on an event. Registration, T&S, Tech, F&C, Grid, Starter, Announcer, Safety Steward, Chief Steward, Chief Instructor. Then there are the PDX instructors who both drive and ride along. Some of the positions also allow you to drive with back-up to handle the duties when you are on track.

This does not count the many hours that some people put in organizing the event.

Many think of a TT as a consumer event - pay your entry fee and arrive and drive. The reality is that it takes a lot of volunteers to make an event a success. If we were in this as a profit making Limited Partnership, the entry fee would be closer to $400 rather than $250.

This looks like the answer to your problem, have the drivers take turns working corners.

put me down for one day, whichever day you need me, have worked corners, grid ect. will do what ever is needed ,just let me know ......
