  • Need Workers for TGPR

Michael Cholewa has stepped up to be the TGPR Worker Chief. THanx.

But we do need workers. We are short on corner workers and grid. You can sign up at www.motorsportsreg.com

We are paying workers $30 a day for their services and providing lunches from the TGPR fine restaurant.

There is also the provision to work a day and PDX a day at the reduced rate of $100.

TGPR is a combined effort of both Alabama and Tennessee Valley Regions. Help your club out, please

That is correct. With the addition of another PDX run group, there won't be time for worker laps at the end of the day.

        That's very disappointing...can't please everyone, I suppose!

We are always happy to hear your opinion on if you would like money or laps. We are trying something different but that doesn't always mean it is better. Let us know what you think after experiencing both.

You can also work a day and get the dirt cheap PDX day. It comes with about 4x the track time as worker laps.

...I think for the amount of money that the pay is, I'd still prefer the worker laps. I know that isn't the case for all of those who work, as many of them aren't nearly as interested as I am about getting some seat time on a road course. An optioned system where you get to choose which one you'd like sounds good in my head, but I'm sure there could be many unforeseen-to-me complications tied in with that as well.

This is true, and the option I always hope to do. But it just rarely ever happens. You don't need near the amount of fuel, tires, brakes, etc to do a single session, and the session doesn't cost you anything other than waving a few flags and hanging out at the track all day, where the PDX for a day has the added cost of the additional wearable items that often keep me from being able to participate, regardless of entry cost.

We need workers for the PDX and the TT school. The clubs are paying for corner workers and have a special of working 1 days and driving the PDX the next day for only $100.

These events cannot happen without your support. Hopefully you can send a weekend in the sun watching some of the best drivers in the SEDIV compete for the SEDIV Time Trial Championship. It's always good clean competition with an easy day of flagging, unless Ted catches on fire again.

Sign up and show your support for the club

More details and registration for workers can be found here:

$30, lunch, and some worker laps, I will work again for that. I will sign up for working Saturday and I might be able to work Sunday as well. I am sure I will be able to find at least one friend to come work as well.
