Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

Was the discussion brought up and anything decided with the Street Unlimited and Street Mod class for SEdiv TT for 2012?

it did not come up . Plenty of stuff was discussed but the main focus was placed on getting the Sediv divisional administrator more decision making power rather than the TTAC. To be truthful with that somewhat heated debate .....there just wasnt an opening for me to insert that into the discussion.

It would seem to me that drivers should just choose to run SU since essentially there is no differance in car prep aside from needing differant class letters on the car .I plan to follow the majority this season in the class I run my car . If the competition is in SU then its SU for me ...if its SM then thats where I will stay. Really doesnt matter to me other than spending 30 minutes making 2 magnetic "U" letters.

It looks like SM has been taken off the list of Solo classes for the TGPR weekend. I am looking forward to this year having a good group of competitors in a nice size class.

After discussing this with most of the affected drivers (not to be confused with the "infected" drivers...) the TT Committee voted to combine the classes this year.

SM and SU will now be run as a single class designated "SU".

Yes. I think that is appropriate.
