Ok folks..I'm working again..... I'm like a baby at a titty joint. Confused!!!!

Thanks John Barnett for trying to make it work out for me. Much love!

Unforeseen family matters came up, so I'm working the event. I'm 100% for working Saturday, but I have to be in Atlanta on Sunday. So..John W & crew I'm ready and excited to work a corner!

Slight issue on my end too ... I have to leave on Saturday around 3:30 at the latest to be back in Birmingham for a photo shoot I promised to do a while back. I should only be missing the last couple of sessions though.

Well when the post was made, you didn't have anyone listed. It was my understanding that Chuck was participating in the PDX...

I have a REAL concern that we won't have enough people to run the event. We need to dig deep guys/gals.

If we have enough help, I'd be glad to have some help from somebody willing to learn what it's like in the tower, and serious enough to fill in, occasionally.

John, I will gladly stand a corner if needed but please check with MW to see if I will be needed. My last check of the pdx entries revealed a bunch of experienced drivers that didn't need my help.

Thanks Paul! I noticed that too on the entry list.

For those of you that are working this event, You should wear something light, in color and weight and comfortable. Bring a hat and sunscreen, there may be little to no shade. Bring some rain gear just in case we get an April shower. Bring gloves, race car parts can be very hot, and it's recommended to wear long sleeves. We will have water and Gatorade at the event but I'd still bring a small cooler with something to drink and perhaps a chair when the opportunity to sit down presents itself. Working a corner at TGPR is an easy course to work and the TT drivers generally play nice and don't cause damages. There will be a break for lunch on both days and your lunch will be free. You need to be at the track at 7:00am on both days and check in at Registration to get your lunch tickets and work assignment.

You're participation is greatly appreciated by the Alabama and Tennessee Valley Regions.

                    See you at the track!

                    Any questions, let me know

Will the EZups not be available to the workers? Or do we need to bring our own?

I'm bringing the EZups but what we have are weak and feeble. A good wind might just kill them off. We have 3-4 and I have one of my own.

I'll see if I can squeeze one in my RX-7 or Miata.

That comma mis-placement after the word "light" really changes the meaning here.

How about "...wear something light in color and in weight,...." Light in color meaning preferrably white.

I am driving the PDX but will be glad to help flag other sessions if that is even possible within the schedule or access.

As an added incentive for the corner workers ALSCCA and TVR will offer a free entry to a AutoX or RallyX event for each day worked. These tokens can be redeemed at any TVR or ALSCCA regular season event. Does not include the Charity or Shootout events. So if you think about it that a pretty good incentive package just to hang out at the track and wave flags now and then. I'll see you at the track.

                                Thanks,
