It has been a very busy few weekends in a row for the ALSCCA!

As much as I hate "going back to the well" two Saturdays in a row, that's the way the schedule worked out. Next Saturday, May 2nd, is our next NDCCC, and I need to get a heads up on who is going to work.

Several of our key workers have already let me know that they cannot make the clinic, so we will no doubt, have fewer workers for the clinic than we have had in a long time. As of the time of this post, we have a full clinic with 15 students. Once again, the clinic will be held at Gardendale First Baptist.

As an added attraction, Sean Yoder will be conducting the classroom sessions. If you know Sean, you know to expect a very entertaining day!

Please post if you are able to work.

On behalf of all of ALSCCA, thanks!

Thanks, I need that kind of pressure. I honestly think it's going to be allot of fun. The other side of the coin is, I can't believe Greg is handing the classroom over after umpteen years. I hope I can do the spot justice.

So all I can say is, HELP!!! If you can make it out to Gardendale next Saturday you absolutely won't regret it. I've been involved with several of the classes over the last two years and it's amazing to see the transformation from first thing in the morning to the end of the day. Just knowing how much we can help these kids (and parents) is a very cool thing.

            I'll be there.

Sean, I'll work on the presentation but I doubt it'll be done as I still have to build the animations for the exercises and that's the biggest time consumer of the project. We also need to iron out the ability to pause/restart the videos if needed. The controller within PPT is buggy at best.

could those animations be inside the ppt as well as qued on real player? we could run the animation through on the ppt and then restart and paus e on real player for an interactive segment of the presentation.

They are WMV files and I think RP could handle them. The issue is cleanly navigating between PPT and RP (or WMP) for the videos. Also, I'd like for this to not require a mouse. Currently, you only need the space bar to run the presentation.

I believe I can keep the videos embedded as they currently are and make them smaller to fit in the window and add the WMP controls, which would let you do the same thing, just within PPT. I started to do it that way, but didn't like the result. the full scree video looks much better.

it needs to be full screen so it be seen. either that or we need a projector.

Sorry, I really hate to miss- especially the Sean debutant party, but I must be at a wedding.

Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection ...... again.

Unfortunately, Anita and I won't be able to go. We have to go to Miss. to visit family. We had a great time last weekend and hope to do more of these.

I will try to make this event, but I have already put some things off from this past weekend that I have to do this week. I'll know more towards the end of the week.
