emails sent and other actions are being taken

I sent out emails to the Hoover City Council on Monday and if I do not hear anything back from them by tomorrow myself and a good friend of mine that happens to be a Hoover Detective will be paying a visit to what he calls " The right people" in the next week.

I have also contacted Barber and Zoom regarding the use of their facilities for the Clinic. I will be on the road tomorrow to look at and see if anyone is at a few of the locations that have been suggested over the past month.

When progress is made I will be posting everythign rigth here. Stay tuned.

City of Hoover has completely turned down any and all requests for the Met as well as anywhere else in their city. I find this amazing when you look at the recent statistics but what can we do. The search continues.

Sean,I am not surprised .They were the same way about our solo program .We did one TNT and was told no thnks after that .Have we given up on new south or is it still an option ?I know Greg doesnt work there anymore but Im just asking .

New South is off the table. Greg and I have a meeting tomorrow and I am working several different scenarios. As soon as we find a venue a schedule will be made. I'm not giving up on this at all. Its just taking longer to find something than I thought it would.

Did anyone check their local Wal-Mart? They are more community oriented than most churches I have been to.

I have been talking to our Pastor and Administrator for the last coupla weeks and, as of this afternoon, it appears we may be able to do at least some of them at Gardendale First Baptist. I expect to get confirmation on the dates tomorrow.

Would BRC be out of the question?

Has anyone asked at Barbers? They may like the idea of providing a place for teaching potential new customers how to drive. They have a lot of paddock area and the control tower has the classroom space.

Even if they did have the space in the paddock you'd have a hard time finding a weekend when said paddock area was not in use.
