My supervisor (who is waiting for final dates to sign up her nephew) had a great suggestion. When people get building permits and such, it is all public record ... so, if a strip mall or WalMart or something is about to go under construction, you can get contact info from the county. They usually lay the parking lots for those before the buildings are occupied so we could maybe find one with lots of shops open for lease and an open lot. All we'd need to do is talk to the county for the owner's contact information.
