    offset upper front control arm bushings will help with the static camber.
    -1.5 by just installing bushings.

    Not sure if they're legal for your class but I imagine they would be fine.

    Get your handling situated first then apply more power, if you need it.

    Lyle Cain's car handles great and he's fast even with a wore out 1.8L rattler.

          I would consider moving towards a slick if I jump into a different class and I would welcome your presence in my shotgun seat to get your opinion.

          Acura J32A2 from a TL-S. Lightweight and similar rev range to the 1.8L. It shouldn't upset the balance of the car, but the necessary subframe change will lose me some dynamic camber gain. Eccentric upper arm bushings (see Mr. W8's comment) ought to gain some back by shortening the effective upper arm length.

          I really like these RS3v2's, but if I go through with the swap, my autocross tire setup will transition to slicks.

          My car's main purpose at this point is to teach me to be a better driver. This, in part, led to my choice to put a relatively small 3.2L v6 in. It will have as much power as a turbo setup, but it ought to run cooler and it will be quite easy for me to fix. It ought to be powerful enough to require precise throttle control, but it isn't so powerful that it won't be conducive to a momentum driving style.

          The car doesn't handle terribly and it doesn't have any real quirks. It responds as expected to driving inputs and setting changes. This is why I am pointing towards things like too little camber. If the springs are right, the damping is right, the sways are right, and the grip is balanced, then the camber must be fairly balanced front to rear. If there is simply not enough camber, then grip will be reduced.

          I would also like to point out that I will likely never be a Lyle Cain (or an Ayrton Senna while we are on the subject), but I still want to go fast.

              I went through the XP rules again and it appears that my minimum weight with a 3.2L engine and an alternate subframe is 2024lbs. (1840+10% penalty) I don't know enough about XP as a national class, but that is not much weight.

                Nope. You probably won't have any trouble getting to the minimum weight in XP for most modern cars.
