Forum will no longer be utilized!
After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.
Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.
What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

BTW, we had a couple of mis-classifications to look out for next time. The silver 350z, NBS1, should have been NCS. She said the trailer told her BS, but remember the entirety of BS merged with CS at the start of 2010, which means RX-8 and 350z is CS.
Also, the green Porsche 944 has a 968 motor swap. I think he ran a novice stock class as well.Rod H

Okay ... the NBS car went through a lot that day. She heard Echo instead of Bravo initially, and no one in the trailer knew it was really Charlie. I will make changes ...
NBS1 > NCS1
Porsche 944 to NSM? Or NSSM?Matt W.

Tire is a PAX class for those drivers who want to run on street tires against other drivers on street tires, but don't want to run in the standard ST classes.
In ST, you are required to run on street tires and you compete against similar cars based on raw times.
In the Tire PAX class, you get a PAX modifier for your base class (CS, SM, etc) and you run against other drivers from any other class (aside from ST classes) who choose to run on street tires as well.
That's the biggest difference ... In "T" you can run a HS Mini against a SS Corvette against an SM Evo and compare the drivers ... not the car. In the defined ST classes you run only against similar cars in that class.Matt W.

Just when you do, it'll change. Car classing is a moving target based on who did what to whom at the nationals the previous year. CSP may become DSP to make room for a new FSP which will displace the old FSP to somewhere else...Originally posted by tjboudreaux View PostThanks. Maybe I will learn all this stuff one day.John W8
