Hit retread in the road and it shattered my plastic bumper facia. What's the rules regarding what I can replace it with. I have a 2013 Subaru BRZ, I've thought of putting the new 2017 oem facia and want to be sure that it would be legal per the rules. I'd like to do national events and not get contested.

Since Street Touring disallowed "body kits" several years ago I would personally go back with the original part. It might be a weenie protest if you went with the new bumper cover but i think it stand.
BTW, this is one of the reasons I plan to lose the "scoop" on my mustang. I didn't give it a second thought when I bought the car 'cause I'm used to seeing them on various vintage Mustangs. Realized later it was an aftermarket edition. That means it isn't Street or Street Touring legal, even though all it does is add quite a bit of weight and some aero drag. If the @#$^ thing wasn't bolted through the hood I would have removed it months ago.Rod H

Start making plans for the Dixie Tour, March 17-18. There are always several of us there and it's just a fun weekend.Rod H
