Yep, the one on the far left is the one I was originally thinking about, but it looks pretty rough. The one in the middle is mostly taken as a holding area for Mercedes. Don't think they would want us driving around their pretty new cars.

The one on the right is not a great surface, but is BIG & could even be extended around the back (top of picture), but it looks like it has access to run-ways, so not sure if any of this is possible.

Just learned of your site troubles and feel your pain. You guys are always welcome at MSSCCA. Columbus AFB is about 2.5 hours from Birmingham and has a large concrete site.
There is a event scheduled for the 16th and 17th ( www.msscca.org/events.html ). Since 9/11 you must submit a Base Access Form by Sunday 4/10 to get on the base, ( www.msscca.org/Base_Access_Google_Form.html ). Since we usually only have about 25 drivers the first car out is usually around 11 so just get here by around 9:00. I've been to a few of your events over the years and had a great time each visit.

Yes. We raced there for years. There are still a couple of sections of that lot that are usable but they currently have rental commitments through summer. We will likely revisit with them later in the year.

If you live in Hoover, an election is coming up. The current Mayor and one city council member who I don't have a name for are the current hold up on the met. One lady called and complained, one. She apparently knows the right people.

From the depths... But I recall someone saying talladega was too small. I'm just glancing at my phone lying in bed so not the most accurate device here. Looks like the northwest lot is approx 750'X1500' ish? That's from the small green rows of plants north all paved. Might not being seeing that correctly on my phone. Using the small scale on the top of the maps app.
