I got to do a couple runs in my wife's V6 Fusion, which was actually pretty fun. Considering it's front wheel drive, on all season tires, automatic trans, heavy four door family sedan, it wasn't really all that awful. It even stayed in the same gear the whole run. I gave my mom a few rides in the Miata, which she loved, and let my dad take his first autocross runs ever. He caught on really quick and I think he wants to get into it now.

Thank you everyone who helped work!!

Thanks to everyone that worked and Yoder for the driving advise. All three of the drivers I brought out to try the sport loved it and I'm sure a couple of them will try some events next year at Oak Mountain. Once again this the best way to let people try autocross.

Thanks to those who stood around for two days in some "not so great" weather to support PBOC and give the rest of us a little fun. I managed to sneak up the hill from my pit monkey duties to get in a few runs. Got some good pointers on how to go faster (be smoother) on Saturday and gave the guy i helped all weekend a couple of passenger runs on Sunday. Will try to make the last event on the 14th.

I think the next edition of the rule book will be on SCCA.com sometime in January. Some of them are effectively published now via the monthly Fastracks. Do you have any specific questions? Perhaps someone can help.

Guessing at what you may be looking for here... the Boxster in your sig will be in B Street which includes: Boxster (non-S) (1997-2008). So the good news is your "BS" letters will still be good going forward

I found this in the August Fastrack which contains what I believe to be the latest Appendix A breakdown of new Street classes. It starts on page 17.
