Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • North vs South 2103

Close but no cigar. (for the north that is)

They can blame it on the rain but we all know it was fast drivers and grits that won it for us...

Woo hoo! Go ALSCCA! Great job everyone. About time we finally got that victory!

Great job from the organizers of both events. The TVR/TAC crew ran an excellent event yesterday, especially considering the rain and the HUGE turnout.

Them Kilgore boys also did a superb job managing our lil shindig back home, and also put down some solid times in borrowed cars!

Thanks everyone for a great weekend!

Wow...I didn't think we took enough of the top spots in B'ham to close the gap. Awesome results guys.

Big thanks to our new or new-ish guys who participated by traveling to Huntsville. I'll probably forget someone, but Roger Staples, Rob Arbitelle, Forrest Waldo, Steve Vanzant, Miky Basso, Justin Wilder, Delanie Calhoun, the Webbs, and others made it our best "road show" in a long time.

If I'm not mistaken they (the north) had no novices travel. It's one thing to get your fast guys to travel out of town but it is huge to get the new guy to show up out of town.

I'm going to say it again, the event should be heavily weighted on getting people to travel to our neighbor region, not just sending the regulars that travel anyway.

Yep...the results show no Northern novices making the trip but we had several in Huntsville yesterday and Roger, Justin, & Delanie brought home points for 3 of the top 10 novice spots.

I made the trip to Huntsville my first year of autocross. Had a great time with the whole "north vs south" thing, even though all I could contribute was some participation points. As a noob it was a great experience to travel to another region (and still is btw). It really helps build club camaraderie when you suddenly find yourself part of a team rather than competing as an individual.

Woohooo!!!!! We won, we won lol. Great job everyone. This whole event is truly a team effort and it paid off. Everyone that went north seemed to have done well and we pulled some good times in bham today too. Awesome! Had a blast this weekend. The rain wasn't fun for anyone Saturday, but 2 days of good competitive racing... I'll call that a good weekend.

Good work guys! I got the heads back on the tib and put the cams in, then took a whiskey break and that kind of bled over into being really lazy for the rest of the day.

Congrats to ALSCCA on a great win. You guys did everything right, from getting a bunch of novices to go to Huntsville to driving well to having a really fun course down at Verizon.
