Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

Congratulations to "the South"!! Pretty impressive. I must say we couldn't have been beaten by a better group of folks...great job ALSCCA.

Have the results of Sunday's beating in B'Ham been posted somewhere?

Not yet, we were able to get the results to print off, but because of the computer glitch that we experienced (which I may or may not have caused) the results are not getting in the proper places to be loaded on the internet. We may end up scanning the results in, but we will get it figured out soon.

We don't have that luxury. rain, snow, whatever... you sign up for a work assignment you gotta be there. Plus signing up and then bailing on everyone means someone who would have shown up to work didn't get the chance to sign up.

I agree, especially if you're that person doing early waivers expecting to be relieved at a certain time to prep your car. Then you're sitting there waiting.. and waiting... and waiting hoping you'll have time to prep your car and register.

If you sign up for one of the worker spots then plan accordingly and be there on time, ready to go. If you're the type to not come if it rains then you shouldn't be signing up for these type of worker positions in the first place.

That's easy...don't sign up for a work assignment. Someone else will sign up AND you don't have to pay them.

Don't take the comments negatively. Rod's point is when you make a commitment then follow through. In cases where something comes up to change your plans then contact John or Mark and inform them. They understand and will appreciate the chance to alter plans before the situation causes inconvenience.
