Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

    The real fix would be getting rid of the ECU and building your own.

      Nah, in the NB Miata the real fix is ignoring the CEL. MUCH cheaper and even the biggest noob mechanic can git'r done.

          Rod, Yep I think that is the code.

          I agree with Cholewa about build your own but I like AC and a functioning idle control.

            Then take the bulb out. Or if that's too much effort, put a piece of electrical tape over it.

              Today I goofed up the seat brackets I've been working on and got real depressed and disappointed and feel like giving up on it now.

                I threw away/screwed up 2 sets of seat brackets until I got one set that I liked.

                  You also have employment that gives you one of them fancy money checks...the $30 of metal I wasted was kinda over my quarterly budget of about $0.60...

                    Sorry Nick, I thought you were upset because you goofed up on a seat bracket. I can understand that because I've done it myself. I didn't know you were depressed over the cost. What are you building it out of?

                                I put Koni Yellows on all four corners then ordered a radiator. I am thinking I will paint the oem rims I use for autocross, but I am unsure about color. Suggestions are welcome.
