Great event! Well done to John, Mark and the setup crew. Something that could have turned out bad was well handled and we moved on. Loved the rain session in the afternoon, thanks John W8 for letting me try out the R1Rs. It was nice to meet so many new people and I was glad to see so many people travel from far away to our event.

Yes, thanks every body for coming out even with bad weather upon us.
Glad that you guys got the situation handled, and that we could continue our " performance driving" event!. I wished we could have continued and finish with the original course but, IMO some seat time is better than none.

Again, thanks everyone for coming out and everyone that kept us going! C

I was so glad that I wasn't going to have to work thru the weekend & was looking forward to joining yall! Alas, I was foiled by a leaky tire. Good on the club for handling things & getting on with it!! See yall in April?????

My compliments. A well run event. The maturity shown by our event team was outstanding. It was good to get back out there after a year off.

Before any derogatory comments are made about any incident on a public forum, I would strongly suggest that people refrain from it. We are a volunteer club that had limited choices on where to hold events. Making comments that could jeopardize a site (whether right or wrong) is counterproductive to the club. Misunderstandings happen, and the best way to get past them with a good relationship is to work them out in private and come up with a compromise. I have seen sites lost from a misunderstanding that created hard feelings and people in charge to dig in and not budge. We never want that to happen.

Let's continue on with a good relationship with Pelham and the Verizon owners and have a great year!

The rain session was the BEST!

Also, I think it would be a prudent policy to to begin filming if any such occurrrence should happen again.

Politics, preventing people from speaking their mind since forever.

Corner workers did a GREAT job of pulling out that red flag and stopping the car on course from any possible incident, great job on that.

              Further Discussion of Yesterday's Event

              Folks,
As tempting as it is to vent our frustrations in an open forum please remember the old legal axiom that anything you say can and will be used against you. I agree with Clay that it is much more advisable to discuss this matter in a different forum such as the next Board/Club meeting rather than here. As Deputy Fife used to say, "Nip it!" please.
Instead let's focus on the positive; we didn't get totally rained out or shut down. Personally, I had a great time, met a lot of new folks with common interests and watched some great autocrossing take place. And we did it safely .... nobody got hurt! For only the second event of the season I think we did pretty good. Can we improve? Sure and we will continue to do better as the season progresses. Let's tackle our site challenges with the same enthusiasm as we tackle each of our autocross runs .... flat out!

Yep Edwin I think my rally skills helped me out there yesterday when we had to do our runs with standing water on the course. Fun Fun! Great event like everyone else said. We had some growing pains, but that just comes with being in a new place. I know we can get all the bugs worked out, it will just take a little time. To those in charge you guys handled everything with class.

Also to the novice class, you guys rock! All of you did a great job of learning and listening to those that were helping you and I think all of you made great progress throughout the day! Thanks for hanging around during our delay and working you stations.

Can’t wait for the next event!!!!

I'll get them up today. With the computer issues we had in the am, I want to verify the files and membership data before posting.

I want to THANK everyone for their patience on Saturday!!! Other than the mishap that had us stalled for a little while, everything ran quite smoothly. We tried to move our schedule around and still get everyone the time on the course they deserved and paid for. Thank you for hanging in there with us and I will keep everyone updated on what happens in regards to our future schedule with Verizon.

                              Thanks again everyone!!!!
