We have another car that we will use. We may also use the orange car but the one most likely is a little milder. And yes we are running the Odyssey in the 09 One Lap( this will be our 4th year). We are also building a new pilot that will have some new guys in it and they ( all of us )need seat time. The company gave us a new white body (straight from the weld shop) to build and it is at Kirk racing now getting a roll cage. The orange car and the other car(red) both started life as preproduction test units. The posted picture is from 07. Since then there is carbon fiber hood and tail gate, lexan windows ,150 more HP, rear adjustible sway bar loss of around 200lbs and now we are working on aero mods for 09. We as I am sure know by now are getting the Accord, can you say 3.7 turbo all wheel drive 6 speed.
Here are a few pictures from the build.
These picures we were getting ready for the 08 one Lap

Of course, that post refers to a chart on page 238 of the Rulebook, which further obfuscates this, for me.
YMMV, check for your exact car's rating, ask the event chairman, etc.
Overall Vehicle height/Average track width, both in Inches equals SSF.. This is the guideline chart in the rulebook. SSF=1.3 is the maximum allowed. It appears to be the Safety Stewards call. For instance, if the vehicle had R-Compounds the 1.3 wouldn't be valid in my opinion. High center of gravity and really sticky tires invites rollover.
But I have no official standing...

.986 g on dry 200 foot skid pad. .867 g on wet( with street tires). We have ran it in an autodross during the One lap( got 29 th out of 75 cars in the autocross). I agree it is much better on a road course but we would love to be able to fit into a class because I think autocross is one of the best training grounds for new drivers to build skills. I sent the event chairman an E-mail asking about a class for us( fast, slow , we do not care). At 40 or 140 roll over is not a big issue. We have cut so much out of it we are in the 3200lb range, and that is with a full roll cage. Hope we can fit into a class because we would like to be part of the SCCA with the Odyssey, plus the company wants the exposure . The Accord will be easy when we build one but it's not everyday you see something like our Odyssey.
Thanks!

I'd say that, even if the event chair doesn't see your email in time, now that we know what we're really talking about, here, this car should have no problem being allowed to run, tomorrow.
Maybe SM, XP, or EM classes would work for this car.

i saw very limited pics of the interior, but what i did see seems to indicat it doesnt really have an interior. that will be the limiting factor on class. but, i dont get the feeling they are really coming out to try to win a trophy as much just to get some seat time before their real race. if all else fails just about anything w/ a big motor or forced induction will fit into em. besides who would be in class to protest them any way?
i REALLY want to see what this thing will do on an auto-x track. ever since grassroots did their comparison of a porche 356, jaguar e-type, and an odyssey i have been trying to get the inlaws to bring theirs out.
OK...... I am soOOO Sorry that I havent responded to this sooner but I have been tacking my car for 3 days straight with no time nor energy to peak into my puter.
That being said ...I visited the height versus track issue with a competitor early in the season who was running a stock CRV in HS.
I called national for a clarification on the rules .This is what I was told......If the vehicle doesnt qualify for a stock class due to high center of gravity issues ,this does not preclude the vehicle from being eligible for steet prepared or modified classes ...it only precludes it from competing in stock form .
The vehicle I see pictured is lowered and has wider wheels .This vehicle can be inspected at tech and approved if it meets the rules for height versus wheel track.I personally dont see an issue with the vehicle pictured .

good to see you guys today! thanks for putting on another great event!
Thanks Brian!!I enjoyed seeing you guys thrash that poor Bimmer( and my cones)
I had a dogfight with Peter in GS.There ought to be a class specifically designed for people who are becoming hasbeens in autox that I can join before they eat my lunch .I barely edged him out on my last run ...and what a banzaiii run it was toooo!!!Woohoo. The day went as smoothly as you could expect one to go.
The timing gods smiled on us ,all of the course work was top notch, grid was brutally quick (especially for 2 driver cars). That is the first time i have ever had a codriver and it was an eye opener....man it seemed like as soon as Evan turned the ignition off ...it was time for me to turn it on .
All of the setup crew did their usual streamined job as well as some additional folks .
Bill Fleet (along with an assist from Jamie Holladay) laid down what I would consider in the top 3 most fun courses I have run this year .Rock on Bill!!!
Thanks to Chris Knisely for helping me get the trailer back to its parking spot.
Beers after at hooters was kickin too.
