I had a blast . The event ran as smoothly as an event could....the course....... the best course I have run this whole year . I actually had a hard time at first because I was so used to turning around at the halfway point and going back . Fantastic day!!!!!!!!!!!

The solo setup crew as a whole should be proud .

Awesome event! Loved the course. Suprised the suspension lasted after the pounding it took. GREAT TIME!

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Definitely had a blast. On a related note, I think I finally got the XSs up to temp ... lol. On run #5 I went in to one corner a little hot about 30% though the course and they were done by the time I reached the turnaround. I gave up run #6 to let them cool off for the shootout.

And, as far as the shootout goes, Erik and I have proven that gray is absolutely the best color for a sedan. I was particularly proud to make the shootout in the #7 position on street tires with an R-Comp PAX. It's been a long time since I've actually been "shaky" after a run, but the shootout did that. You don't know how intense it is until you have a chance to drive it. Lots of fun ... just wish I wouldn't have coned away my chances at a trophy.

Amen! I went for it crossing the road and clipped a cone because I thought I lost time earlier in the run. That error in judgement isn't my first nor will it be my last.

I'm very pleased with yesterday and enjoyed the Shootout with you all.

Great course! One of the more challenging we have had all year, I loved it! Thanks so much John for getting that extra piece or real estate, just that one extra lot made all the difference in the world. So much fun. Congrats Lyle to winning again! And to all those that made the shootout, way to go!

Now we must focus on taking down the North!!!! Muahahahahahahaha

You know, the feature immediately before the crossroad was supposed to slow us down. Instead, it became a gut check and suspension test. Hope nothing broke.

Course design is so much easier when you have a bigger canvas to work with. Huge kudos to John for getting the extra cubic feet; it made all the difference.

It was a great day and kudos to all the people that showed up early to help with setup. My apologies for the feathers I ruffled about the 30 minute lunch, at the previous event we announced a one hour lunch and it was an hour and a half before everyone got back. With six runs plus the shoot out there just wasn't time for this. I highly recommend that every one bring a lunch the rest of the season.

Congrats to Lyle on the shootout! Had an awesome time! LOVED having that extra space, excellent course!

Goal for next time: Get a clean run! (Or maybe one with just one cone??)

Not a really big flaw in course design, but a flaw none the less. There was not enough shady spots for spectators to watch. Oh well!

Katie and I may start bringing our lunches. good idea. It is nice to take a break in some AC for a few minutes over lunch though.

                      Only reason I leave.

The course was awesome. I almost forgot how crappy the pavement was while focusing on the features.

with a 30 minute lunch I sent the boys after burgers while I stayed under the ezup. it is interesting hanging around during lunch. Met a nice family who are in the miata market, found us on the web, and came to check it out. I had fun trying to explain all why the miatas had so many different class letters on them

I believe I saw the husband ride with Eric in the afternoon.

This was my third event. Even though I suck, the more I do it, the more I look forward to sucking a little bit less the next month.

Thanks for all the hard work that goes into putting these together.
