I was flat footed trough the kink on my last run and managed to stop with only one and a half front brakes.

I didnt have any problems stopping, but maybe thats more me just being slow than anything else.

I miss the Honda vans, it would've been interesting to see how they handled the course.

You don't count, with your silly 900lb of rear downforce ... Or, is that an air brake like the Veyron?

I loved the stop box and i didn't have any problems with it mine came in that decreasing radius turn not to mention I might have gotten distracted by how ungodly loud my car was
90 miata small and fun and yes it's a sports car

Do you think maybe next time we could try to put the stop box on the opposite side, going uphill, where the ticket sales trailer was this past event? That seems like a pretty straight, safe area to stop. I think.

I came through flat footed once and managed to stop! with about a foot of breathing room... But I dont know what to do about the stop box issue, I think its kindof a fun obstacle for drivers to encounter, maybe just not have an awkward kink before it?

I think for the first time we tried a course design like that ,it could have been much worse .My car had the tendency to step the rear to the right if I went to the lights on the throttle which is where I trashed my best run with a cone just past the light reflector but thats all part of it .I left foot brake when autoxing so I didnt have a whole lot of problem stopping the car in the box.

IMHO , the finish is easily fixed by 10 more feet of woe down after the lights .

Did someone at BRC tell us we couldnt block that road off? We used to but that was before they started opening on Sunday again .

I made that call to leave the road where it was passable for BRC employees, if they needed to go there. I personally wanted the course to end going downhill as opposed to uphill which would have been toward a potentially car-filled parking lot. I agree with additional 10 feet on the stop box, it does eliminate the "too fast return to the grid" problem of some courses.
