While we're on the subject of "Will it Rallycross?" - I'm slowly getting a 1974 Dodge Charger I drove in the '90s back on the road and wanted to bring it out to RallyX.
I can say with confidence its rollover risk is minimal (track width > height by a good deal).
Power levels are actually not excessive - its 318 was rated at 265 ftlbs factory and if I have to rebuild it, I plan to build for about 300 ftlbs.
Shipping weight is listed around 3500 pounds (basically, add a tank of gas to that to get curb weight). For comparison, a current Charger has a curb weight around 4200 pounds. It may be a larger risk for chewing up a course than a little Ranger, though.
I don't expect it to be fast. I'm betting it would be fun, though.
