Cool Wes. Hope you can make it. We are all excited about Atlanta region(YOU) moving alone forward to having Rallycross in Georgia. I can't wait!

Wes, call me if your coming in Friday night and you need a place to crash?

12 entries ... looking like a good turnout. Wish I could be there!

You WILL see me, and a shiny yellow car, next time. Wes saw the car a couple of weeks back ... he can probably tell you how much of a feat that will be! lol

Sorry I missed. We sold my wife's car about a week ago and she was anxious to get something else. She wasn't digging driving the truck every day. So Saturday we drove to ATL and got her a nice used BMW 325.

Congrats to her! You missed a really fun event. It was dusty and it was hot but that didn't stop us from having a blast slidding our cars sideways in the dirt. Great event Edwin and Ron!

So there was a photographer...where can I get the get/order the pictures from him? Also is the result going to be posted online?

                      Thanks again for the fun!

Glad you made the trip over and had so much fun! I'm really how can you not sliding your car sideways in the dirt. The times should be posted up in a few days on the forum. Not sure where the pictures will be but we will try to put a link up for ya. Hope you will come back in September!

Thank you Ed and everyone else for a great race. It was my first (I was in the Forester) and won't be my last. See you guys next race.

Here are some of my shots I took for the first race set.

Anyone know who the Nikon photographer was and his website? I wanted to see if he posted his somewhere.

                            That would be me!

                            Pics are up at:

I took way more than this (almost 1600 pics) so this is just a very small sample of the most sideways or the most dirt spray. If you want to see more of your car, let me know and I can set something up.

                                You were really ????

lol I don't know if I'm supposed to slide or not. I guess coming from autocross background I am more disciplined and only use the momentum to correct the angle and not sliding. There were two questions I was debating the whole time I was there: 1. Slide or not (rotate past the point where steering wheel is centered) 2. Wheelspin or not

My feeling that day is no sliding for fwd, and some but not over wheelspin, just to remove the loose dirt on the top. I found it interesting that while there is a lot of article online about road racing, not much is around for rally technical stuff online.
