Hey Damon I had a awesome time down there. Looking @ these times I dont think I won 3rd overall time. I dont know if you didnt add all the DNF's or missed gates on these times shown. If you did then I need to send that medal to the person that did win 3rd overall.. I was alittle surprised when I was awarded that medal. I was sure I had 1st in M2, but not really sure about the medal. Please verify that because I dont want anything I didnt earn...

You have a bunch of good peeps down there & I want to give you, Benson & I believe his name is Al credit for putting on a great event.....Thanks again Bro.

yeah i messed up on the overall winner times. first time doing that, being tired and needing to get it done real fast didn't really work for me. SORRY. i'll do better next time or i can just work a corner.

great event though! so glad that we made the drive. another road trip to cross off the list. everyone was really nice (minus the workers at Popeyes lol) and welcoming. the location was great until the end when no lie 2 food ruts began to develop on one side of the course. but the Black Pearl carried on and finished strong, i must admit i did hit the brakes in fear when i first saw those huge holes in the track. (will post pictures soon of these monsters)

30+ drivers at the first event, looks like you have lots of interest down there Damon, good luck with finding a site and keeping this going.

Sounds like a great first-event. I hate that I missed it.
Good call on my part though.....the "mildly slipping" clutch would not have made a competitive run.....it's toast.

that blows Tim, would have liked to see how you would have done to! There were some fast cars in M4 and PA, and one SA car had them all beat, but he didn't make it to the end!

Theres a nice GoPro cam pic on Edwins car, but you can't right click to save!

Also here's some pics that Jack took as well > http://imgur.com/a/aCIWN

Had a blast shooting the event and this is one of my faves. Happens to be a local to this site I think.

Boy, the registration on this site sure is tricky. Do I get a trophy for making it this far?? I kid.

It was a pleasure to meet those that came from this region to show us cajuns how to get it done in the dirt. Allow me to formally introduce myself as Brett. I was #22 in the Enterprise (non)Sponsored Cobalt (1 of 4 drivers). I hope we can secure a more permanent location and will be able to attract a good sized following; local and otherwise. Initial interest seemed strong and while the surface degraded during the day (much to the dismay of some body panels), I think the event still ended on a positive note.

Hey Brett, it was nice to meet you and yes you guys do have a good group of people that seem to be very interested in rallyx. I'm pretty sure you won't see those kind of cars "newer and nicer" the next go around but who knows. I'm glad the event went so well and that so many did come out to try their hand at slinging dirt! Keep us posted on your quest for a new site, C and I might have to come back down. (our moms want to go to the casinos, so its a good excuse to get out of town for the weekend)

Off topic a bit, Thanks again for the help from Edwin, Sara and C! Ya'll helped more than ya'll alot with this! I am spreding the word down here about the National Challenge event @ shag bark in April, and I am gunna try to put together another event for maybe late May/ early-mid June, all depending on site availability of course!
